Rachel Barenblat holds an MFA from Bennington and rabbinic ordination from ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal. Author of several poetry collections, including 70 faces: Torah poems (Phoenicia, 2011), Toward Sinai: Omer poems (VR Press, 2016), and Open My Lips (Ben Yehuda, 2016), she serves as co-chair of ALEPH, as rabbi of a synagogue in western Massachusetts, and as interim Jewish chaplain at Williams College.
