Rise Up Review
After spending one-third of his life abroad, Michael L. Newell has retired to the south-central Oregon coast where he can enjoy rain, lots of rain, his favorite weather condition. He also is permitted the considerable pleasure of walking past river, creek, and forested hills. Having spent decades in arid settings, his current surroundings, with their attendant wildlife, provide deep contentment. Recent work has appeared in Verse-Virtual and Jerry Jazz Musician.
