Judith Brice is a retired Pittsburgh psychiatrist whose love of nature and experiences with illness, both her own and that of her patients, has informed much of her work. Over 35 published poems have appeared previously in The Paterson Literary Review, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, The Bear River Review, Vox Populi.com and Versewrights.com among other national publications and also in a book about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict entitled Before There Is Nowhere to Stand. One of her poems is part of the permanent collection of the Holocaust Memorial Center in Famington Hills, MI. Her first book, Renditions in a Palette, was published in 2013 by David Robert Books. Her second book, Overhead From Longing, will be published by David Robert Books in the summer of 2018.
