Rise Up Review
Betsy Mars is a longtime resident of Southern California. She was born in Connecticut and her father's academic career led to several moves during her childhood, including two years in Brazil. She has her bachelor's and master's degrees from USC, and currently is not using either in her work as a substitute teacher. She is a poet, mother, animal lover, and travel fanatic who is struggling to remain optimistic. Her work has appeared in The Ekphrastic Review, Sheila-Na-Gig, and Writing In A Woman's Voice.
